Another National Pastime Advertisement

I found a third advertisement for National Pastime.

This one comes from the January 1931 issue of Baseball Magazine:

This comes from page 44 of the magazine, and is about as large as the advertisement was in the December 1930 issue:

In contrast, I have not seen a second National Pastime advertisement in any late 1930 or early 1931 issues of The Sporting News — though I’m still looking.

It would be interesting to know if these advertisements also appeared in other early 1931 issues of Baseball Magazine. Since these magazines are collector’s items and have not yet been properly scanned and archived, it might take a while to figure out.

At the very least, however, we know that Clifford Van Beek had a slightly more robust advertising strategy than we first suspected.
