This is going to be a bit brief – my apologies.
I had a bit of a computer crisis earlier this morning. I’ve been backing up files and reformatting hard drives all day. As a result, today’s post is going to be somewhat short – but I should be back to normal tomorrow.
No worries, however – the 1949 replay is safe. Thanks to this helpful forum post, as well as my limited experience with the topic, I remember now how to copy ongoing Diamond Mind Baseball seasons from one computer to another without losing anything.
The steps are simple:
Copy the directory that contains your replay over to another drive – preferably one that you can use on your new machine.
Install Diamond Mind Baseball on your new machine.
Copy the directory with your replay over to the newly created Diamond Mind Baseball directory.
Launch Diamond Mind Baseball
Click “Add Reference to Existing Database”
Select the directory containing your replay
You’re set! Everything will be just as you left it.
