Handling Multiple Replays At Once
As you know, I’m doing more than one replay at the same time.
It’s not easy.
Do you have any tips or pointers for handling multiple projects simultaneously?
Feel free to discuss: I’ve left the comments open for everybody.
Daniel, I rarely attempt more than one replay at a time although, I admit, I've been tempted. It's enough of a challenge to keep my interest from flagging while working on just one. It takes me the better part of a year, or a bit more, to complete a single season. If I split my time between two replays, it would take several years to finish each one and I worry I'd lose touch with them.
However, as a change of pace, I often set up the next replay and maybe play a few games just to get the feel of the new season. That's particularly helpful when replaying seasons from different eras such as you're doing with 1908 and 1949, using different game engines. Are there any complications form doing that and does affect your interest in each replay?
For me doing a replay of both leagues is usually enough of a change of pace. Two eight-to-ten team pennant races and two leaderboards is more than enough for me, usually taking ten to fourteen months using DMB.
