Sometimes you just don’t have a game worth writing about.
And so, without further ado, here is my day in review for replay games on May 11, 1908.

Phillies 6, Cubs 4: At Chicago, the Phillies pile it on in the late innings, scoring 3 in the 7th and 2 in the 9th to overcome an early 3-1 deficit. Watch the game here.
Doves 6, Reds 1: At Cincinnati, George Ferguson throws a complete game, scattering 10 Reds hits in the win. Ferguson also goes 2 for 3 at the plate with two singles and 2 runs batted in.
Giants 6, Pirates 3: At Pittsburgh, Christy Mathewson wins his 7th straight game as the Giants make short work of the Pirates. Watch the game here.
Superbas 5, Cardinals 2: At St. Louis, Tim Jordan homers again and Ed Konetchy strikes out 7 as the Superbas blow past the Cardinals.
Athletics 9, Senators 3: At Washington, the Philadelphia offense crushes Washington pitching, winning this one before it started. Watch the game here.
