I prefer the old days when starters were work horses. 20 wins didn’t mean you were great (think Ron Bryant 1973 if I recall), but it meant more often than not that the starter could get through the lineup a third time. These days most starters aren’t even given the opportunity to try.

Well they baby pitchers today so the chances of 20 game winners are slim and none. Cakes Palmer would eat their lunch 😱⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️
