The Day John McGraw Left The Orioles

The July 19, 1902 issue of Sporting Life contains comprehensive of John McGraw’s sudden decision to join the New York Giants, as well as the complicated purchase of the Baltimore Orioles by New York Giants owner Andrew Freedman.

Although Sporting Life is currently free, I thought it would be helpful to display these articles in blog format. The old fashioned column format in the old weekly newspaper is a bit hard on the eyes, and many fans likely have never read this before. I thought it would be helpful to share all of this with you unedited.
