My problem used to be that I'd read a book, watch a video, or hear someone discuss a season I didn't have, and want to add that to my collection. However, the desire to add more became the obsession, rather than enjoying what I had. I got frustrated and sold almost all of of my SOM Baseball lot earlier this year. Now I only have a few sets. I wish I'd kept 77-79, LOL, but for me less is more, and I enjoy the journey of the replay more than enjoy tracking down another set. To each their own though, there could be worse things to collect.

I hear what you are saying, and I agree, but collecting and "hoarding" those seasons is part of the fun, at least for me. When I moved to Europe 10 years ago I sold all my Strat sets. Now I purchase Payoff Pitch sets (my new sim obsession) when I visit the U.S. (to save on shipping). I already have 5-6 season sets still in the wrap, but it feels good to own them. :)
