Where It All Started
It’s been a long time since I started this project.
The first post, believe it or not, was not an explanation of what was happening. Instead, it was a game summary:
April 18, 1949
Start of the Season There’s really nothing quite like the start of a new replay. It’s a brand new beginning, a new start to an old season, and all the magic of April comes with it. With nothing but zeros in the standings, you start to believe that anything could happen, imagining the surprises and twists and turns that surely await you.
The idea initially was to find a single game from each replay date to feature. I quickly abandoned that idea, however, when I found myself playing a lot of close and tense games.
The second post I wrote was just an explanation of the settings that I used:

Why 1949?

In retrospect, I suppose it was bold, but it worked out pretty well.
Blogs, YouTube channels, and other online projects are funny things. You come in with an idea of how you think it’s going to work out. You soon find, however, that these projects tend to have minds of their own.
