As for the players here, Wild Bill Hallahan's the only one I'd take issue with. APBA's first 1930 set made him a D, since his ERA was over 4.50 and he didn't win enough games to override that. I wouldn't go that far; with his W, that'd make him their least effective pitcher. I can see why the magazine chose him; he led the pennant-winning Cardinals in victories (with just 15) and led the NL in strikeouts. But both Fitzsimmons and Hubbell of the Giants had better seasons.
